Alessandro Orsini

TrameOscure è convinto che questa voce su WikiTrash su Alessando Orsini sia quella che ha scatenato il putiferio che tutti conosciamo - blocco a infinito di vari utenti, sputtanamento di Hypergio, blocco globale del sottoscritto, mancata riconferma di Vito. A TrameOscure manca un tassello importante di questa vicenda e quindi, se manca a lui, chissà a quanti altri... colpa mia che non ho mai finito di scrivere l'Orsineide di Gitz, l'enciclopedia della stupidità.

La voce che ha scatenato il putiferio è questa, che è rimasta online più di un anno. Si notano subito il voto non entusiasmante di maturità, 40/60, informazione inconsueta nella biografia di un accademico, l'informazione (falsa e non sostenuta dalle fonti citate) secondo cui l'Ucraiana "avrebbe dovuto astenersi dalla difesa della propria integrità territoriale", e soprattutto la sequela di recensioni negative/stroncature al suo libro sulle Brigate Rosse. Tra le fonti c'è persino il blog personale di un ex BR ("Il saggio è stato pesantemente criticato anche da Paolo Persichetti, dell'area della sinistra antagonista"), che è una fonte vietata da WP:BLP. La cosa è grave perché il libro di Orsini ha ricevuto anche recensioni positive (e infatti ha vinto il premio Acqui Storia ed è stato tradotto in inglese da Cornell University Press). Per molti mesi vari utenti, registrati e non, hanno provato ad aggiungere le recensioni positive o a rimuovere quelle negative, e sono stati annullati da vari admin: era vietato menzionare le recensioni positive su quella biografia, punto, alla faccia di WP:NPOV. La voce su en.wiki dà conto anche delle recensioni positive (com'è doveroso in base a NPOV) e tra queste ci sono molte riviste accademiche di settore (compreso Foreign Affairs).

Per capire che cosa è successo bisogna anche guardare le pagine di discussione: qui  quelle vecchie e qui quelle più recenti (solo in parte leggibili a causa del malefico cassetto di Gac).

La vicenda Orsini è stata anche riassunta in un post su Wikinostra.

Le foto delle pagine di discussione sono poco leggibili. Con l'aiuto dell'IA, ne ho ricavato il testo e ne pubblico qualche estratto. Purtroppo si tratta solo di un "frammento": le discussioni più sugose, più importanti (e dalle quali era persino emerso un consenso sulla rimozione dei contenuti non verificabili) sono state cassettate da Gac. Mi piacerebbe molto rileggerle (e farle leggere ad altri) ma non le possiedo.

* la collezione di citazioni negative non mi piace e trasforma questa voce in una "pagina di attacco" di cui francamente si potrebbe fare a meno. Mi limito a osservare che, ritagliando dalle stesse fonti in modo altrettanto unilaterale, potremmo dire che il libro di Orsini "offre originali chiavi di lettura" (Sissco), è un "informative and valuable study" che offre "important documentation", "interesting reading", "a valuable reminder" di qualcosa (Journal of the Cold War"), un "remarkable book" che "gets as close as any to understanding this sort of thinking [thinking dei terroristi, non di Orsini]" (Foreign Affairs ), e via dicendo.
IMHO la cosa più neutrale e obiettiva che possiamo dire è che "la tesi del libro è che le Brigate Rosse sono eredi di una tredizione gnostica che va da Thomas Müntzer ai giacobini, Marx, i populisti russi e il PCI" (lasciando al lettore l'onere di giudicare) e che il libro ha ricevuto "recensioni contrastanti" (implicando che a molti non è piaciuto). Alcune sue accuse mi parevano almeno da verificare, ma non ci voglio entrare perché vedo che c'è un dibattito aperto. Non dimenticherei neanche questo intervento di Gitz al progetto biografie (cui Kirk rispose con supercazzole) e la breve ma significativa discussione del neoutente Orangesong, assaltato subito e bloccato da Actor e poco dopo infinitato senza motivo da Kirk, cui si fa riferimento anche nel post su Wikinostra.
Ricordiamo che Orangesong non fece alcuna modifica alla voce, ma intervenne solo in discussione.
Questo la dice lunga su che razza di gente siano quegli admin.

E infatti non è per quelle 4 righe. Ma per queste (cito dalla voce WP online sino a giugno 2023):

Sempre a mo' di archivio, pubblico qui alcuni materiali che possono essere utili per ricostruire la vicenda Orsini. Questo mi sembra molto utile: è la cronologia dell'affaire Orsini che ho spedito agli steward il 29 giugno. Non modifico nulla (a parte un paio di refusi) ma aggiungo link dove è possibile.

The story of my global lock. Detailed timeline

1. Danieleb2000 is a newcomer (account created in March 2022). In March 2022 Danieleb's creates the draft of a (very brief and perfectly neutral) stub about Alessandro Orsini, who has recently become famous for his controversial views on Russia-Ukraine. Notwithstanding Danieleb's objections, the stub is not published until May 2022. Between March and May, admin Argeste, Bramfab, TrinacrianGolem, Kirk39, Quinlan83 and other autoconfirmed/autopatrolled users turn Danieleb's draft into an attack page. In May 2022, the article is published by Argeste with edit summary "BLP-compliant".

2. Two or three editors apart from Danieleb raise UNDUE objections on the article talk page. Danieleb is repeatedly warned and blocked by Kirk (indef), Vituzzu (turns indef into one-week block for personal attacks, POV-pushing, and "not being collaborative"), Gac (WP:EW), and Kirk again.

3. Danieleb includes positive reviews to Orsini's book in the article and is reverted by admin Quinlan and Fresh Blood. Danieleb places the template:POV lamenting undue weight to negative reviews only, and is reverted by admin Kirk. Danieleb's comment on the talk page is reverted by admin Gac because it is identical to the removed template:POV ("The removal of a comment deemed POV was made by another admin, and reposting the same text verbatim on the talk page is an attempt to circumvent the action, be it right or wrong, of an admin. Hence my automatic intervention" - here).

4. On 14/05/2023 Danieleb is blocked by Kirk because of "repeated inclusion of promotional articles, edits and links". Admin Quinlan explains on Danieleb's user talk: "if reverts are made by experienced users – in this case admins – there is always a reason … Let the encyclopaedia work calmly, since, if there are materials worth adding, experienced users … of proven reliability, will take care of this in the future". On 16/05/2023 Danieleb files an RfC on Gac's behaviour, which is reverted by M7.

5. Having noted the failed RfC, on 17/05/2023 I start editing the BLP on Orsini. I have no conflict of interest (COI), since I have never had any previous contact with Orsini, and I have not been canvassed. The article is unbalanced: mediocre high school grades are included; only negative reviews are included, with extensive verbatim quotations accounting for approximately half of the whole biography; among the negative reviews, there is one posted on the personal blog of a former member of the Red Brigades, which was included and repeatedly restored by admin Bramfab; Orsini's views on Ukraine are WP:EXCEPTIONAL (Ukraine should refrain from self-defence) and fail verification.

6. I am civil in talk page discussions and share policy-based arguments and links to RSs. I warn Danieleb about the dangers of bludgeoning on their user talk page (admins will block you). I make three bold edits removing unverifiable and contentious content. When reverted by admin Actormusicus and Kirk, I do not edit war. Two of my edits are eventually restored by Actor, but not the one removing the negative citations WP:OVERKILL and the quote from the self-published blog.

7. Luix710 includes in the article another negative review with a long verbatim quote, which I myself had discovered and shared on the talk page. When reverted by me, Luix edits war, I don't. Luix is reverted and warned by Actor, who also applies another 3-day block to Danieleb for bludgeoning and use of bold characters in talk page discussions. I civilly criticise Actor on Danieleb's and Luix's user talks and get one-week block for "abuse of service page".

8. A few hours later, on 23/05/2023 Hypergio turns Actor's block into an indefinite one (no block evasion on my part). The block's rationale mentions "edits without consensus" (aka bold edits), "personal attacks" (which never took place), "abuse of service page" (i.e., comment on Luix's talk page) and "incompatibility with the project". Thanks to Actor's intercession, I send a wikimail to Hypergio, who refuses to undo the indef block and allow me to retire voluntarily from the project. I make the same request in the WikiIt mailing list – allow me to retire voluntarily – but no admin replies. Gac hides the relevant talk page discussions into collapsible boxes (WP:TALK violation, no off-topic or personal attacks there). Danieleb starts a discussion at the local equivalent of WP:BLPN and on 26/05/2023 gets 1-month block by admin M7 ("WP:SPA currently disruptive for the project")

9. On 25/05/2023 I make contact with "Third party" for the first time. It is not hard to guess who they are (not Luca Poma) and I have spontaneously disclosed their name to admin Parma1983 (on 08/06/2023) and the stewards (on 21/06/2023). Since they are not WP editors, I will not name them here. We start exchanging emails: I explain various WP policies (NPOV, BLP, etc.), share diffs from article history, and personal views about the reasons of it.wiki's malaise. A few excerpts: "I have no reason to think that anyone intends to make the article even worse. I believe that it is already the worst possible and that some admins, after all, realize this"; "faced with attempts to influence content from the outside, the community (which is small and unprofessional) tends to become closed and to antagonise"; "it is difficult for it.wiki to overcome the will of a group of admins, no matter how small, because the community has no procedure for preventing or resolving so-called "wheel wars" [and thus] admins with common sense avoid reacting to violations perpetrated by their colleagues. This situation ... is endemic and makes the air of it.wiki unbreathable".

10. On 30/05/2023 I'm told about Hypergio's COI (they are a NATO employee). I don't know who first discovered and circulated this information, but Luca Poma's blog and Hypergio's LinkedIn profile are the sources. I verify the information on it.wiki and confirm it by privately sharing diffs with Third party. I don't share nonprivate information (NPI), I don't post NPI either on-Wiki or off-Wiki, but I explicitly authorise Third party to share our correspondence with whomever they wish: these diffs are public information and protecting Hypergio's and it.wiki's reputation is no longer my business. Third party offers to put me in touch with a journalist, which upon reflection I decline.

11. On 31/05/2023 I contact WikiMedia stewards with questions about WP:DOX ("the issue on which I want advice concerns the possibility of a global block following the disclosure of personal information"). I say I'm aware of two COIs (Hypergio's and "John Doe"'s) and ask stewards if and how I might disclose their NPIs in compliance with policy. At the stewards' request, I briefly describe the nature of the two COIs. I don't disclose John Doe's username or personal name. Stewards suggest I contact it.wiki bureaucrats and trusted admins to share NPIs.

12. On 1/06/2023 I contact Hypergio by email raising their COI and asking them to self-revert. No threats in my email, which I spontaneously shared with stewards on 15/06/2023 ("Addendum to Appeal"). Hypergio has already resigned and doesn't reply. I do not contact Hypergio at work and/or Hypergio's employer.

13. On the stewards suggestion, I contact it.wiki bureaucrats on Meta but they don't reply to me, so on 4 June I send NPI/COI allegations (including John Doe's username and personal name) to admin Pequod76, who doesn't reply either.

14. On 5 June the "Fatto Quotidiano" article is published. Admin Gianfranco hides with RevDel Hypergio's COI editing at NCIA article.

15. On 5 June I send another email to the WikiIt mailing list sharing a link to the "Il Fatto quotidiano" article and asking to be unblocked; no admin replies. On 7 and 8 June, I send an appeal against the indefinite block (two emails) to admin Parma1983; they don't reply.

16. Noteworthy: A) None of my emails to the stewards, Pequod, Parma or the WikiIt mailing list contain threats: I never say or imply "if you don't do this, I will do that". B) On the contrary, my emails to the stewards, Pequod and Parma explicitly and repeatedly state that I have no intention to disclose John Doe's personal identity. C) I have never had any direct contact with John Doe: no email or any other communication from me.

17. On 09/06/2023 my account is globally locked for "violation of the UCoC, threatening and intimidating behaviour". Vituzzu explains "Look, when you touch people's private lives for me it's global ban stuff, there's nothing more to say" (so it's about WP:DOX).

18. On 9 and 12 June I ask the stewards about the allegations of the Italians stewards: how did I doxed and harassed? I later repeat this request for information several times. On 12/06/2023 I open a thread on Wikipediocracy, "Italian abuses and vendetta. Gitz6666 globally locked". On 14 June I submit an appeal to stewards focusing only on DOX allegations and explaining that no info about HAR has yet been shared with me.

19. On 19/06/2023 the Signpost article is published, sparking debate in the community. Notable points: A) The Italian stewards' allegations are explained as follows. Sakretsu says "perhaps can Gitz explain how I knew that legal actions were on the way?" (hinting at WP:LEGAL?). Vituzzu says that I know stewards won't act like me, i.e. "threats like outing, threats of outing, contacts through workplace etc etc etc." Italian admin Phyrexian says "if someone threaten a voluteer in real life we must ban him". B) Stewards say Trust & Safety is informed of the nature of the allegations. C) Vituzzu's personal attacks and casting aspersions against me ("his bad faith and his habit … to skew facts", "Writing blatant lies as a provocation", "He probably forgot to tell you he sent at least 21 emails…", etc.).

20. On 20/06/2023 en.wiki arbitrator Beeblebrox says on Wikipediocracy that "most serious allegation" levelled against me by Italian stewards is not DOX. They suggest I "ask the stewards to explicitly tell you everything they believe you did", and mentions the opportunity of appealing to the Ombuds commission. I write to stewards, T&S and the Ombuds commission asking for information. On 21/06/2023 Ombuds commission declines the case. On 27/06/2023 also T&S declines the case and doesn't reply to my request of sharing the information conveyed by the Italian stewards.

21. On 21/06/2023 Vituzzu replies to me. "I have two questions, which, without the time-consuming signpost/wikipediocracy drama would had been likely been made a couple of days ago." Why did the signpost/wikipediocracy drama prevent him from asking questions? It is actually the only reason why Vituzzu is now writing to me. I answer the two questions and disclose Third party's personal name and an excerpt from the 4 June email I sent to Pequod about John Doe.

22. Vituzzu replies "given the outcome being in contact with [Third party] raises the worth suspicions but suspiscions are worthless. I don't share your view about alleged Hypergio's COI but this is not the topic here, what really matters the contact you had about his identity. There was a quite concerning contact that you deny doing. I acknowledge that you deny doing it. This doesn't mean that I believe you, but it is definitely worth further investigation".

23. Vituzzu also says "You told him [John Doe] to "stay away" from articles he has not COI at all!" This is false: I never had any contact with John Doe. I told admin Pequod that John Doe has a COI related to certain articles they have recently edited.

24. Vituzzu says that my email to Pequod is "vile", meaning that I used Pequod to keep John Doe away from certain articles. Vituzzu also raises two irrelevant allegations of WP:SELFCITE against me (one in 2014, when I had made less than 5 edits on WP, the other one being the citation of an article not authored by me but published in a book I co-edited). Vituzzu claims that "my hysterical wikipediocray friends should be aware that confidentiality is in favour of all involved parties (also in favour of you)". 25. Vituzzu clarifies the nature of the Italian stewards allegations as follows: "I've already told you. The main points are the contact to Hypergio's employeer and the email about [John Doe]" (it is not clear if this email is the one I wrote to the stewards on 01/06/2023 briefly describing the nature of the two COIs or, as it looks more likely, the email I sent to Pequod on 04/06/2023).

26. The 04/06/2023 email to Pequod is the key evidence (and possibly the only evidence) as far harassment is concerned. On 26/06/2023 I post it on Wikipediocracy (original text + English translation of the relevant excerpt concerning John Doe) after having removed all NPI.

The story of my global lock. Detailed timeline

1. Danieleb2000 is a newcomer (account created in March 2022). In March 2022 Danieleb's creates the draft of a (very brief and perfectly neutral) stub about Alessandro Orsini, who has recently become famous for his controversial views on Russia-Ukraine. Notwithstanding Danieleb's objections, the stub is not published until May 2022. Between March and May, admin Argeste, Bramfab, TrinacrianGolem, Kirk39, Quinlan83 and other autoconfirmed/autopatrolled users turn Danieleb's draft into an attack page. In May 2022, the article is published by Argeste with edit summary "BLP-compliant".

2. Two or three editors apart from Danieleb raise UNDUE objections on the article talk page. Danieleb is repeatedly warned and blocked by Kirk (indef), Vituzzu (turns indef into one-week block for personal attacks, POV-pushing, and "not being collaborative"), Gac (WP:EW), and Kirk again.

3. Danieleb includes positive reviews to Orsini's book in the article and is reverted by admin Quinlan and Fresh Blood. Danieleb places the template:POV lamenting undue weight to negative reviews only, and is reverted by admin Kirk. Danieleb's comment on the talk page is reverted by admin Gac because it is identical to the removed template:POV ("The removal of a comment deemed POV was made by another admin, and reposting the same text verbatim on the talk page is an attempt to circumvent the action, be it right or wrong, of an admin. Hence my automatic intervention" - here).

4. On 14/05/2023 Danieleb is blocked by Kirk because of "repeated inclusion of promotional articles, edits and links". Admin Quinlan explains on Danieleb's user talk: "if reverts are made by experienced users – in this case admins – there is always a reason … Let the encyclopaedia work calmly, since, if there are materials worth adding, experienced users … of proven reliability, will take care of this in the future". On 16/05/2023 Danieleb files an RfC on Gac's behaviour, which is reverted by M7.

5. Having noted the failed RfC, on 17/05/2023 I start editing the BLP on Orsini. I have no conflict of interest (COI), since I have never had any previous contact with Orsini, and I have not been canvassed. The article is unbalanced: mediocre high school grades are included; only negative reviews are included, with extensive verbatim quotations accounting for approximately half of the whole biography; among the negative reviews, there is one posted on the personal blog of a former member of the Red Brigades, which was included and repeatedly restored by admin Bramfab; Orsini's views on Ukraine are WP:EXCEPTIONAL (Ukraine should refrain from self-defence) and fail verification.

6. I am civil in talk page discussions and share policy-based arguments and links to RSs. I warn Danieleb about the dangers of bludgeoning on their user talk page (admins will block you). I make three bold edits removing unverifiable and contentious content. When reverted by admin Actormusicus and Kirk, I do not edit war. Two of my edits are eventually restored by Actor, but not the one removing the negative citations WP:OVERKILL and the quote from the self-published blog.

7. Luix710 includes in the article another negative review with a long verbatim quote, which I myself had discovered and shared on the talk page. When reverted by me, Luix edits war, I don't. Luix is reverted and warned by Actor, who also applies another 3-day block to Danieleb for bludgeoning and use of bold characters in talk page discussions. I civilly criticise Actor on Danieleb's and Luix's user talks and get one-week block for "abuse of service page".

8. A few hours later, on 23/05/2023 Hypergio turns Actor's block into an indefinite one (no block evasion on my part). The block's rationale mentions "edits without consensus" (aka bold edits), "personal attacks" (which never took place), "abuse of service page" (i.e., comment on Luix's talk page) and "incompatibility with the project". Thanks to Actor's intercession, I send a wikimail to Hypergio, who refuses to undo the indef block and allow me to retire voluntarily from the project. I make the same request in the WikiIt mailing list – allow me to retire voluntarily – but no admin replies. Gac hides the relevant talk page discussions into collapsible boxes (WP:TALK violation, no off-topic or personal attacks there). Danieleb starts a discussion at the local equivalent of WP:BLPN and on 26/05/2023 gets 1-month block by admin M7 ("WP:SPA currently disruptive for the project")

9. On 25/05/2023 I make contact with "Third party" for the first time. It is not hard to guess who they are (not Luca Poma) and I have spontaneously disclosed their name to admin Parma1983 (on 08/06/2023) and the stewards (on 21/06/2023). Since they are not WP editors, I will not name them here. We start exchanging emails: I explain various WP policies (NPOV, BLP, etc.), share diffs from article history, and personal views about the reasons of it.wiki's malaise. A few excerpts: "I have no reason to think that anyone intends to make the article even worse. I believe that it is already the worst possible and that some admins, after all, realize this"; "faced with attempts to influence content from the outside, the community (which is small and unprofessional) tends to become closed and to antagonise"; "it is difficult for it.wiki to overcome the will of a group of admins, no matter how small, because the community has no procedure for preventing or resolving so-called "wheel wars" [and thus] admins with common sense avoid reacting to violations perpetrated by their colleagues. This situation ... is endemic and makes the air of it.wiki unbreathable".

10. On 30/05/2023 I'm told about Hypergio's COI (they are a NATO employee). I don't know who first discovered and circulated this information, but Luca Poma's blog and Hypergio's LinkedIn profile are the sources. I verify the information on it.wiki and confirm it by privately sharing diffs with Third party. I don't share nonprivate information (NPI), I don't post NPI either on-Wiki or off-Wiki, but I explicitly authorise Third party to share our correspondence with whomever they wish: these diffs are public information and protecting Hypergio's and it.wiki's reputation is no longer my business. Third party offers to put me in touch with a journalist, which upon reflection I decline.

11. On 31/05/2023 I contact WikiMedia stewards with questions about WP:DOX ("the issue on which I want advice concerns the possibility of a global block following the disclosure of personal information"). I say I'm aware of two COIs (Hypergio's and "John Doe"'s) and ask stewards if and how I might disclose their NPIs in compliance with policy. At the stewards' request, I briefly describe the nature of the two COIs. I don't disclose John Doe's username or personal name. Stewards suggest I contact it.wiki bureaucrats and trusted admins to share NPIs.

12. On 1/06/2023 I contact Hypergio by email raising their COI and asking them to self-revert. No threats in my email, which I spontaneously shared with stewards on 15/06/2023 ("Addendum to Appeal"). Hypergio has already resigned and doesn't reply. I do not contact Hypergio at work and/or Hypergio's employer.

13. On the stewards suggestion, I contact it.wiki bureaucrats on Meta but they don't reply to me, so on 4 June I send NPI/COI allegations (including John Doe's username and personal name) to admin Pequod76, who doesn't reply either.

14. On 5 June the "Fatto Quotidiano" article is published. Admin Gianfranco hides with RevDel Hypergio's COI editing at NCIA article.

15. On 5 June I send another email to the WikiIt mailing list sharing a link to the "Il Fatto quotidiano" article and asking to be unblocked; no admin replies. On 7 and 8 June, I send an appeal against the indefinite block (two emails) to admin Parma1983; they don't reply.

16. Noteworthy: A) None of my emails to the stewards, Pequod, Parma or the WikiIt mailing list contain threats: I never say or imply "if you don't do this, I will do that". B) On the contrary, my emails to the stewards, Pequod and Parma explicitly and repeatedly state that I have no intention to disclose John Doe's personal identity. C) I have never had any direct contact with John Doe: no email or any other communication from me.

17. On 09/06/2023 my account is globally locked for "violation of the UCoC, threatening and intimidating behaviour". Vituzzu explains "Look, when you touch people's private lives for me it's global ban stuff, there's nothing more to say" (so it's about WP:DOX).

18. On 9 and 12 June I ask the stewards about the allegations of the Italians stewards: how did I doxed and harassed? I later repeat this request for information several times. On 12/06/2023 I open a thread on Wikipediocracy, "Italian abuses and vendetta. Gitz6666 globally locked". On 14 June I submit an appeal to stewards focusing only on DOX allegations and explaining that no info about HAR has yet been shared with me.

19. On 19/06/2023 the Signpost article is published, sparking debate in the community. Notable points: A) The Italian stewards' allegations are explained as follows. Sakretsu says "perhaps can Gitz explain how I knew that legal actions were on the way?" (hinting at WP:LEGAL?). Vituzzu says that I know stewards won't act like me, i.e. "threats like outing, threats of outing, contacts through workplace etc etc etc." Italian admin Phyrexian says "if someone threaten a voluteer in real life we must ban him". B) Stewards say Trust & Safety is informed of the nature of the allegations. C) Vituzzu's personal attacks and casting aspersions against me ("his bad faith and his habit … to skew facts", "Writing blatant lies as a provocation", "He probably forgot to tell you he sent at least 21 emails…", etc.).

20. On 20/06/2023 en.wiki arbitrator Beeblebrox says on Wikipediocracy that "most serious allegation" levelled against me by Italian stewards is not DOX. They suggest I "ask the stewards to explicitly tell you everything they believe you did", and mentions the opportunity of appealing to the Ombuds commission. I write to stewards, T&S and the Ombuds commission asking for information. On 21/06/2023 Ombuds commission declines the case. On 27/06/2023 also T&S declines the case and doesn't reply to my request of sharing the information conveyed by the Italian stewards.

21. On 21/06/2023 Vituzzu replies to me. "I have two questions, which, without the time-consuming signpost/wikipediocracy drama would had been likely been made a couple of days ago." Why did the signpost/wikipediocracy drama prevent him from asking questions? It is actually the only reason why Vituzzu is now writing to me. I answer the two questions and disclose Third party's personal name and an excerpt from the 4 June email I sent to Pequod about John Doe.

22. Vituzzu replies "given the outcome being in contact with [Third party] raises the worth suspicions but suspiscions are worthless. I don't share your view about alleged Hypergio's COI but this is not the topic here, what really matters the contact you had about his identity. There was a quite concerning contact that you deny doing. I acknowledge that you deny doing it. This doesn't mean that I believe you, but it is definitely worth further investigation".

23. Vituzzu also says "You told him [John Doe] to "stay away" from articles he has not COI at all!" This is false: I never had any contact with John Doe. I told admin Pequod that John Doe has a COI related to certain articles they have recently edited.

24. Vituzzu says that my email to Pequod is "vile", meaning that I used Pequod to keep John Doe away from certain articles. Vituzzu also raises two irrelevant allegations of WP:SELFCITE against me (one in 2014, when I had made less than 5 edits on WP, the other one being the citation of an article not authored by me but published in a book I co-edited). Vituzzu claims that "my hysterical wikipediocray friends should be aware that confidentiality is in favour of all involved parties (also in favour of you)". I reply that "Confidentiality is not in my favour. I've nothing to hide and I'm ready to speak publicly about all this, including my name and surname".

Bella ricostruzione di una vicenda ai confini dell'incredibile, complementare a quella fatta su wikinostra, dove a differenza della ricostruzione di Gitz si evidenzia nei dettagli il ruolo di Argeste e Bramfab, admin all'epoca e admin tuttora (niente spoiler, chi vuole si legga il post).
Alcune osservazioni:

- incredibile il revert di M7, senza alcuna spiegazione, alla richiesta di pareri su Gac
- il blocco di Actor a Gitz fu semplicemente una punizione per aver osato suggerirgli come comportarsi (come osa un plebeo dare suggerimenti a un admin?), mentre la conversione in infinito fatta da Hypergio scaturì sicuramente dai canali riservati
- molto bella la sequenza di schiaffi da cinque o sei admin (incluso Actor) che si beccò Danieleb dopo una richiesta di pareri sulle BLP, un attacco coordinato quasi sicuramente organizzato anch'esso nei canali riservati
